We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day weather-wise to host POP, The Bridal Event at The Americana at Brand!
Well over 40 vendors turned out to offer brides and their friends and families advice, services, exclusive discounts and more. Thank you to the experts, artists and designers that made this event a success; we couldn’t have hosted POP without you.
We’re also grateful for the special guests. Wedding expert David Tutera made it out, as well as world renowned designers Ines Di Santo and Maria Elena. Our celebrity guests included newlyweds Mario and Courtney Lopez.
Duke Photography and Yitzhak Dalal of Dalal Photography were kind enough to snap and share more than 500 photos from the event (below), and Walter Pawluk was on-site videotaping; we look forward to seeing the final video. POP, The Bridal Event’s roster of talented artists keeps growing. Our lineup of the most talented vendors in the industry surely wouldn’t be complete without the addition of Commemory® Fine Art!
This type of work isn’t something we see often. Bethany Thomas, local artist and owner of Commemory® Fine Art, gives couples a uniquely personal way to infuse their love story throughout their wedding by creating custom paintings on canvas as decor. What a beautiful idea!

POP Participant: Dádiva Shop

We at POP, The Bridal Event love pretty, fabulous details. We believe in celebrating and making memories, which is why Dádiva Shop is a natural fit for our event!
“Dádiva” in Portuguese means “gift.” So, Dádiva Shop literally means “The Goddess’ Gift Shop.” It’s a very appropriate name, and you’ll see why once you view the photos of some of their products below.
Dádiva specializes in sentimental and unique gifts to celebrate life’s many milestones. Pieces include heirloom-quality and customizable jewelry, and one of their specialties – luxury embroidered décor pillows. Other unique products include apparel and wine glasses.
At POP, Dádiva Shop will début one of its most popular pillows, The Armenian Wedding Blessing, as a ring bearer pillow. The company’s also offering something special for POP attendees: special discounts and offers along with any purchases. What wedding would be complete without terrific food? POP, The Bridal Event is happy to have Anoush Catering on board!
Anoush Catering, established in 1986, provides full service Mediterranean catering for a variety of events. As noted on their site, they are “Dedicated to excellence in food quality, preparation and presentation, and imaginative décor.”
The company offers a brilliant selection of tantalizing international foods, including a wide range of options such as Persian, Armenian or Lebanese catering. Anoush promises to create an amazing culinary experience for your guests; that’s quite the promise!
People love this company. Wrote one reviewer on Yelp, “The service was superb and [there were] so many different types of food to try.” Another review wrote, “I can’t not express their hospitality. They will bend over backwards for you.”
And Christian of Anoush took some time to share with us his number one wedding planning advice when it comes to selecting your food options: “Remember who you are and what you want. This is the best day to be selfish.”

POP Participant: Creative Works Designs

We ensure that POP, The Bridal Event offers a diverse selection of premium vendors for attendees. That said, our lineup wouldn’t be complete without Creative Works Designs.
The Burbank-based company was established “to delight clients with custom designed invitations for every occasion,” stated Sherry of Creative Works. Since 2005, the shop has offered premium invitations using the finest quality papers, embellishments and printing processes. It truly is “all in the details”; each piece of their stationery is somehow made special, whether if affixed with sparkle or artfully covered in feathers and pearls.
Brides love Creative Works. “Sherry is a visual person: all you have to do is show her a photo of what you want, and she will build your perfect stationery,” stated Christine on WeddingWire. One bride stated in her review that one of her guests said, “‘I have been to a million dollar wedding, and this invitation surpasses theirs.’ Sherry truly is an artist.”
The shop offers up an array of beautiful options sure to meet a client’s needs (we especially like their “couture” collection). Their hand-made invitations are enhanced by in-house graphic design talent, and are customized to reflect the personality, theme and style of each client and occasion.

POP Participant: Calligraphy Katrina

Even the smallest incorporation of calligraphy in a wedding can add a beautiful, distinguishing touch. That’s why Calligraphy Katrina and her Maison du Papier have been added to POP, The Bridal Event’s lineup of premiere vendors.
Calligraphy Katrina offers premium handwritten calligraphy and stationery services. The business promises to deliver the “classic beauty of hand-lettering in a modern age by adding an elegant touch of sophistication to every paper to complete your special event.”
Katrina’s talent permits her to finish projects with efficiency and grace – “for every stroke of her pen is a promise of pristine elegance only a professional calligrapher such as Katrina can perform,” stated the business.
She has earned accolades from numerous acclaimed brands and corporations (Chanel, Mercedes-Benz, TASCHEN, Chanel, etc.), and online blogs and magazines (The Knot, Brides, California Wedding Day, Style Me Pretty, Martha Stewart Weddings, etc.).
